Game plan went out the window with the gift of a goal, and now pool will try to pick us off. But we're still in the game. Pool sitting back very compact. Maybe a long shot will get us a goal. If we score, I think Pool could fall apart.

We’re in this. Dembele and Davies have been excellent. Eriksen needs to do more and Harry’s below his best but feeding off scraps. Trippier should be a bit less hestitant and drive on. He’s not going to get acres to cross it so he has to do a bit more of the work.
Sanchez has looked very ropey and Jan too as a consequence.

You do realise he would make little difference here? This is purely a tactical thing. Players being asked to work it out from the back against one of the best pressing teams in the league.
You think Poch would analyse how others have had joy vs Liverpool. I can guarantee u it wasn’t by rolling it around the back 4.

Dier off, Wanyama on, change to 4-2-3-1 and pace and power through the middle to batter them.
They are easily coping with stopping us wide, but anything thriuth the centre looks dangerous. Add Wanyama to that we'll get chances and things will drop.

Liverpool cant keep up that intensity.
Just as they cant get away with all the fouls and shirt pulls.
The caught us cold, since then they only got a couple of opportunities.
They have done a job of stopping us playing, but we were getting into the game as the half went on.
I feel the same will be said for the second half, Liverpool will tire, we will then get into it more and more.

Of course he's not, but he's far further down the line towards a Pirlo type than a pure DM like Wanyama.
I'd happily swap him for a Pirlo type tomorrow, but he's probably the best we can do right now.

Poch needs to do something, we've been second best. Whether that is change formation, change personnel, change tactics... we aren't clicking like we can.
I do worry that as the game wears on, we will push forwards and Mane/Firminho/Salah will have a field day.

Call him what you want he gives the ball away by being caught on the ball EVERY game, I don’t see Wanyama do that who isn’t a pure DM because he drives forward with the ball all the time....

We’re well in it with our play. We’ve had decent possession, got into some decent positions but our final ball has been off.
This is just crap from Poch today -- we hammered them 4-1 playing on the counter, we got chance after chance playing that way, sitting deeper, bein more direct at times. This time, we decide to go there, push high, create nothing and let them get all the chances by playing 2 passes forward or picking up a mistake in possession.
This is the first time I have been totally phucked off with Poch, it's just brain dead not to approach this game the same way we did at Wembley. Not good enough.
