Yes I read that. I am assuming (hoping) that it’s a bit of a hedging of bets. Moura wants/needs to leave PSG this window. With only a few days left, if terms could not be agreed with us, then he would need an alternative to turn to in short order. That’s what I’m telling myself, anyway!

Was expecting to see something like this, possibly just to hurry us up and get the deal done (ie if we're haggling over terms, then PSG leak a story like this, or actually do start talking to others)

I doubt it will be over the fee. PSG will just want a bigger upfront payment, rather than the usual 1/4 per year arrangement, to help them with their FFP problems

That's not how accounting works.

The sale will be immediately recognised in full in the club's profit(loss). The debt owed by Spurs will be in receivables/debtors - a balance sheet item, which is irrelevant to FFP.
