I’m appreciating the signing but thinking about who will miss out. Will Dele be dropped? Son? Eriksen? I assume that Lucas has been advised that he will start most games, even if not every game.
I'm sure we wont have given him any guarantees however if you assume everyone is on the same form then for me the best blend of a 3 behind Kane would be Eriksen, Moura and Dele.
However, having more depth will enable us to rotate and play different formations. For example, Man C sometimes play David Silva and De Bruyne alongside Fernandinho in the midfield of a 4-3-3. We could mimic that with Eriksen and Dele alongside Wanyama and the Moura, Kane and either Lamela or Son up top.
