Summer 2018 transfer thread

He is, its just the classic 'name' where he's not some flash foreigner. I dont think he's a typical Spurs signing, but maybe an experienced replacement for Toby whilst letting Sanchez and Foyth develop? Either way he is a good CB and didnt want him going to Arsenal....

He is an OK defender but plays in teams that sit back.

Northern Ireland and WBA - Still - may score from a corner!

I always rated Evans quite highly, perhaps higher than I should. For that kind of money I think he would be a good signing. If Pochettino trusts Foyth to develop over the coming years Evans could offer good cover for a while.

Will depend on which other players are available and what they would cost. If Alderweireld even leaves.

Just seen Marca are reporting that Bayern Munich want Harry Kane as a replacement for their Polish striker who’s name I’m not going to attempt to spell:D I mean seriously, Real Madrid can’t afford Kane but then Bayern Munich will?! They really are full of shhhh.....

Why would breaking your leg impact your pace? I'm not doubting you (though equally I have no idea how you could demonstrate that he's slower apart from some careful watching of videos etc) but I can see how muscles injuries would impact pace but a bone (I would have thought) has no real impact

Having fractured both a femur and a tibia, I would disagree.

It really isn't too difficult to spell once you get going.
