World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

I want to know who agreed to this Water break bull brick. Its outrageous that FIFA agreed to this blatant split of football into 4 quarters. Half the games have be played at temps lower 23. The England game is in Dallas. A stadium with a roof and AC for temps. So there is simply no excuse. Have they decided that ALL games no matter the temperature are having advert breaks?
Yes.

is it not fairer that way?

I remember a time with international football where they would film a player when the ball was out of play and show an overlay with their name and which club team they played for. It was so nice! I have no clue where most of these Japanese players play. I could look it up, of course, but wouldn’t it be convenient to just get it on the screen like we used to? Some sort of silly copyright thing with UEFA or some such flimflam? Or FIFA simply not wanting to acknowledge that the players have clubs?

Was looking at the Dutch squad, and wondered why Van de Beek wasn't in it, so had to look him up.
My word, poor fellas career went all downhill since we beat Ajax in the CL.
Signed for Manure, didn't get a game, went on loan to Frankfurt and did his ACL and had various other injuries. Came back and got signed by Girona. Just as he was getting up to speed, he tore his acilles tendon, and then got relegated with Girona.
Just shows that you can never really tell how things will turn out. I thought Van de Beek was nailed on to really make it. On the whole, the promise that team showed came to very little. F de Jong being the exception I guess. In retrospect their key player was a Southampton reject - Tadic.

This really highlights the conversations that have been had of late about the lack of top quality footballers. You look at this Dutch side, the Brazilian side the other night and they are full of bang average players and you compare to their World Cup teams of the past brimming with top class players.

Really is sad to see....

They are needed for a lot of the games, so they decided to have them for every game, so it's fair for everyone.

Yeah, he was tremendous during that CL campaign, and the year before. Looked top class.
