With a fully fit squad, what's your starting 11/formation?

A bit last decade arguing who’s better. Now more than ever it’s a squad game.
Precisely this.
If we have 2 equally excellent players in each position, that is something to be celebrated, why would you moan and say the manager doesn't know which player is better, the whole aim is to get 2 equally excellent players in each position and rotate through them.

If we had all FOUR of Xavi/Kudus/Deki/Madders fit we could rotate through each, i.e. TWO starting and playing 60 minutes and TWO subs for 40 minutes, every game and keep them ALL fit for the whole season, imagine that!

What's interesting is that we were genuinely in for Semenyo. It is therefore implied that we are still looking for a leftie attacker to go with your 4 names there. That brings into question whether we play the double pivot with a 10 or whether we play a 6 with two guys ahead. Could that be 2 out of Xavi, Kulu and Madds if they're all fit.

Either way, that rotation you talk about is key.

Gotta say that despite the money spent, seeing all these teams written down are not exactly getting the pulse running.
It's the forwards. They are not inspiring. We've also had to spend a lot just to close the gap rather than it being to take us beyond them.

Our midfield is much stronger. Our defence is weaker. And our attack is injured and/or in decline

Apart from defence weaker I’d agree. Think defence is pretty similar. Romero was playing within himself when he did play. Danso done his best not knocking him but he’s not a starting CB you want to see regularly either.

Just our forward areas a real concern for me now . Not many goals in that lot.

Switching Vicario, Romero, Vuskovic and Spence for Dubravka, Hecke, Senesi and no-one yet - is completely a downgrade.

It may play out - having steadier rather than spectacular players and a different blend, but player-for-player we are definitely weaker

I’d rather steady over the erratic nature of Vicario and Romero. Spence I’d agree . Think we should have kept him. Then again RDZ has maybe seen something he does not want about the squad.
