What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Odobert. But it was congested. United worked hard closing us down.

So far he’s not shown anything more on the right. If anything he’s impressed and made a name for himself on the left. But take your point, new systems and Frank likes crosses.

I guess the question id ask is whether we looked better because we have a left footed player there, or if fresh legs and united being stretched with one less man was the difference maker. If Udogie had started (which I think he probably should), Spence might have come on against tiring legs and looked amazing.
Odobert okayed half a game and Spence played half that half with him
There was no overlapping until Udogie came on

We looked better because we had balance. That’s what every team needs

United IMO werent tiring. They had the midweek off. The difference was we had variety on that side with a left footed player and a winger

your right since could have come on and looked amazing. We don’t know. Udogie didn’t look amazing, just looked like he could go both directions

It’s really not binary but still quite simple. Spence can’t go outside on the left. He isht left footed. He can and does on the right. That’s his strength, his right foot. If we play inverted, he can play left and excel. If we’re playing traditional FBs and hitting crosses you need players who can play with their correct foot.

Not true. Spence has been overlapping wide. It was congested and there wasn’t much space until the game opened up at the end. Didn't you mention a cross of his that led to corner?

Point taken Udogie crossing on this natural left foot over Spence’s weaker foot can be advantageous. Not sure there are that many other benifits though. And who knows maybe Spence could start cutting in scoring.

Personally think we’re quite well equipped, with 4 fullbacks. Three are international level. And the forth plays for Wales 😆

Semayano and a midfielder would be awesome and so much more transformative than a third (after Spence and Davies) back up LB!

Davies isn’t ever baying for us again as a first team player
If he does we’re royally screwed
The team attacks so limply under Frank … he needs width. That’s the issue and benefit of Udogie or another left footer.
I was at the game and Spence didn’t overlap. Appreciate your gonna bang that drum but j just can’t say what I didn’t see.
