I am sure there's a better place for this, but in these times of gloom, a reminder not just of a great great glory night, but of how INCREDIBLE the Lane was that night towards one of our own who suffered a penalty miss. A reminder as to what HELPS teams. It was an incredible night. I know a few others here were there too. What a privilege to see us lift a European trophy at the Lane.
We had no clue how lucky we were...

It was an incredible night. When Roberts equalised I was convinced the stand shook & moved not that I cared.

Whenever anyone asks I always say it was the greatest game I've have ever seen. Why because we played well & should have won in normal time the atmosphere was unbelievable for the whole game & sadly it was Burkinshaw last game. Sadly Danny missing a penalty in today's era he'd be racially abused we just sang his name loud & proud after all he was one of us.

They certainly were, I listened on radio as I drove home from Gatwick airport, it was nerve racking and not the safest way to drive.
