Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

About our disciplinary record from: https://www.football.london/tottenh...enham-dream-cristian-romero-scenario-28373052

"After passing the halfway mark of the season Tottenham avoided any more collateral damage through yellow cards. Spurs have the third-worst disciplinary record after 20 games, picking up 56 yellows and a league-high four reds. This comes out at nearly three cautions per game and a man sent off every five matches."

Absolutely sure Ange didn't ask the boys to go out there and hurt people, but why is our disciplinary record so bad? Over enthusiasm? Or does Ange gets them that committed that they become ultra-charged ?

Many have been just silly. Bissouma dive. Kulu grabbing shirts. Romero, udogie being high with their studs by being late.

Not trying to hurt. Just not needed.

Romero is vice captain, that is all you need to know.

I feel some refs are looking harshly on us along with the massive lack of consistency in refereeing. In the Fulham game Palhinha does a great tackle on Saka and as the ball is cleared and as he moves off he is either tripped or kicked by Saka, Fulham get a freekick yet commentators fail to mention it and ref takes no action other than the freekick.

What happened to our patience? I am astonished at the posts lampooning Ange and his style. He has lost key players especially in defence. He has done far better than anticipated at Spurs. People were predicting we wouldn't even be in the European places. Yet here we are in top 6. It is not even up to 6 months he took over Spurs. Get a hold of yourselves. This isn't FIFA or FM!

Really? Spurs fans are the absolute worst for following media narrative/click bait brick. We are the reason that the media has a field day, no one is pressuring Emry to get a trophy (when last did they win something? 96?) but somehow Ange needs to "bet everything on the FA Cup", everton has spent half a billion and survival is an achievement? where is the trophy talk again?

Months of the media fudgery re naive/it will end it tears/sexy, while sucking off Saudi Sportswashing Machine (poor Howe with his injuries), running multiple stories about why ETH/Poch need to be given time, and somehow we are one point off the Scum & City ..

We constantly let the media brick on our club, our players (suddenly fudging Kane is WC? suddenly he is the best #9 in the world? where the fudge have you been for the last decade?), our ownership (look at United, look at Chelsea, look at others infrastructure/stadiums)

Ange is doing amazing work, but he's been given tools as well, all we have to do is back them (the manager/players/club) and enjoy the ride, somehow that's too much of an ask for a lot of Spurs fans.
