Waxing a moustache

I find myself in a position where the 'tache is very 'waxable', yet have a distant echo of Shoreditch tossery a la mid-2000s. I mean, I'm about as hip as a C&A string vest, but I do find myself thinking this fecker should be waxed. Who out there waxes their 'tache? Is this a thread destined for the bin before it's started?

Are you considering a) using wax to tame a curly moustache and ensure that the connectors at the extremities lie flat with your beard or b) taking that connector growth and teasing it away from your beard, then twirling the ends into absurd spikes and holding them in place with wax, so that you can resemble the sort of Victorian ne’er do well who ties heroines to railway tracks and organises street urchins into criminal gangs?

If b), could you provide a picture of your frock coat collection so that we can assess the look in toto?

Oddly, I had a discussion recently about C&A and string vests with a venerated fashion writer and she was telling me Spring 27 is going to be all string vests, blues and vibrant oranges.

I'd be concerned it might be seen as cultural misappropriation. Especially if he used henna.
