So they reckon that the Lewis family are ready to invest £100m into the transfer kitty, they do realise thats fudge all nowadays right? Are they going to pay the wages we will need to spend to get a next level player in?
Actually £100m of cashflow would be very welcome at THFC. We are fine on PSR and can sustain a decent level of year on year transfer spending. Cash flow is probably our most pressing concern right now (though I would argue a good stadium sponsorship all ploughed in to paying off capital on our stadium debt would also be sensible)

Some encouraging signs, I think, given that we got rid of Johnston early, rather than spending the month haggling over trying to squeeze an extra £4.50 and a bag of training balls out of Palace; and we apparently blew Villa out of the water by outbidding them by £10 million for Gallagher and offering him a permanent contract.

Daniel wouldn’t even be beginning to think about doing any business yet. Wayyyyy too early.

We didn't outbid Villa by 10m. They wanted a loan, we wanted to buy.
