Gutter Boy
Tim Sherwood
He’s out injured isn’t he?
7-14 days was the report. And that was about 8 days ago.
You also don't make a decision to sign someone on a 6 year contract or not because they have a minor muscle strain.

Does go to show how much strength training that Xavi Simons needs to do in the gym when you consider that he weighs almost 3 stone less than Eriksen or Rose!
Xavi Simons 5’10” (178cm) 9 stone 2 lbs (58kg)
Eriksen 5’11” (181cm) 11 stone 13 lbs (76kg)
Danny Rose 5’8” (173cm) 12 stone 0 lb (76kg)
Injuries and need for rotation, but then some players can only play in some games meaning that the options available to Frank becomes more limited. Also potentially players getting unhappy about missing out on CL football. What problems does it create?
The PL is what we need to worry about, without sorting out a bigger and better squad for the PL then we won't be in Europe anyway. Note that I don't see us qualifying for Europe next season anyway so it hardly matters but if we do somehow scrape in then both Gray and Bergval can come off of the overseas list next season which would open up two further spots.
I respectfully disagree. If we have a bigger squad then we can ensure players play fewer minutes overall and that will keep them fresher, irrespective of what competition.Injuries and need for rotation, but then some players can only play in some games meaning that the options available to Frank becomes more limited. I agree that the league is more important and worth having players not registered for that reason. My initial point was just that we have had registration issues and for that reason and others selling is important.
It's less about weight and more about strength, weight distribution and balance. Modric was essentially perfect in all of those areas whereas say someone like Richy whilst taller and maybe even thicker lacks the same degree of co-ordination and definitely strength.Modric is 10Kgs less than both Eriksen and Rose, David Silva as well, and I'd say Modric and Silva managed the PL well enough
Xavi has some adapting to do, but it's not needing to put on 3 stone.

Yeah, from ESPN website for that season's squadOut of interest, is that the 16/17 version of Eriksen and Rose?
So outside of Souza .. nothing?
Also Charlotte RFC, after they saw his penalty the other night.
Not really. We never did amazing in January. Levy was a good chairman but the transfer market was not really his . I guess people will then say he was never acting alone. So you can’t praise or knock him in this. The facts are we have not done good business for a long time which coincides with levy. I’m sure he is not solely to look at btwThe more this transfer window goes on and the more nothing has been said or done the more Levy comes out smelling of roses imo.
Remind me of all the times Levy had smashed it in the transfer market by 7th January? January isn't the time to be be doing the best/big deals usually, bit of a stretch to try and judge the competency of ENIC post Levy on the first 7 days of the January window, or the January window at all....The more this transfer window goes on and the more nothing has been said or done the more Levy comes out smelling of roses imo.

The only time we had a great January window was the season Redknapp came in and we were looking as though we could be relegated. Magically, significant money appeared that Jan for signings. Not really. We never did amazing in January. Levy was a good chairman but the transfer market was not really his . Bro even if we have a brick January that's what we usually had under Levy anyway.Remind me of all the times Levy had smashed it in the transfer market by 7th January?
