How things have hinged upon us winning the Europa.
There's no way we'd have got the transfers of Kudus and (I assume) Gibbs-White tied up so fast without Brennan's lovely scrappy winner in Bilbao.
We'd be in an even worse position than Man Utd, waiting and waiting to push a deal through for our equivalent of Mbeumo.

Absolutely. That day was a gamechanger in the short-term for us (possibly long-term, but i won't get carried away on that front just yet)

Not to put a dampner but richarlidon, solanke, johnson, maddison were in the price range.
