Oddly he didn't do badly elsewhere. 80 goals in 300 games in the Iberian leagues isn't dreadful. He was pap for us though.

I read this thread to see if there is any credible news but realised it's a waste of time, the only thing I've learnt is that any player would have to be desperate to join a club with so many negative fans who will hate them within weeks.
