We have no AM so he's playing Gallagher there. I don't rate Gallagher as any sort of AM but he has some goal threat. Bentancur isn't a bad shout, I guess he's also giving Bergvall a chance to perform / maybe seeing if it drums up interest in him?

Let's not forget, Brentford are a decent side, well drilled and is largely unchanged from last season. We are 5 players missing from the best 11. This was always going to be a tricky match

The issue is his goal threat is massively outweighed by the fact we can't progress the ball.

He could play Gallagher from the right and not lose anything from the press. I'll never subscribe to playing a #10 with so little creativity.
