***Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea***, Premier League, Nov 1st 2025 at White Hart Lane

I used to play Premier Manager 92 with a brick team called Stalybridge Celtic (you had to start in the conference league and work your way up) - are they still around? I reckon they don't boo their team. Maybe I'll just start following them for a bit.
 
Frank needs time and a couple of windows. I blame what’s out there. No where near the levels. No guts no fudging shots apart from right at the end. So annoyed. Time for. Beer come on the spurs second half
 
Other than handing them two excellent chances been fairly close. But we're also not good enough going forward (again).

Frank has his work cut out for him. Probably needs to sub Bentancur at some point, drop Sarr deeper. Would give us another attacking player. I do think Romero can make a difference too if it's not too risky to bring him on. Similar with Udogie.
 
need to be much more direct in H2, no passing arounds at the back, just go long and get Muani chasing everything, win corners, win FK's around the box

no mistakes at the back, no passing around in our own half, let alone our own third, just fudging smash it forward at every opportunity

Will give two simple examples. We take a long goal kick. Pahlinha and bentancur are stood 10 yards in front of our box. That’s fudging brainless. They need to be up the pitch ready to win the second ball.

Porro gave a chance away, Vic saves and we break. Pahlinha gets it and fudging passes it backwards. Completely unacceptable.

This is on Frank. Not good enough by a long way. This is the big leagues, not Brentford.

Frank can't be blamed for Xavi not being able to do the basics though.
 
Not watching, noticed Xavi on after 7 mins, does it look like Kucas is now out for a while? Or more a precaution? Is their hope he’s ok I guess is really what I’m asking?

If it was a one off then blame the players, but the style has been the same all season, negative, no bravery on the ball, and always taking the safe backwards option. That's on Frank.
