***Tottenham Hotspur v Everton*** - OMT

Seems like it will be a really challenging game for us. They're quite good, we've been at best up and down.

Assuming Romero is still out Porro is so important for us, only great passer in deep areas. He looked off it against Monaco on the ball and has played a lot recently, looks in need of a bit of a rest/rotation. But can we?

We also need to be wary of running Kudus into the ground. But similar situation, can we afford to not start him.

As most of the season I want a midfield to include two of Simons, Gray and Bergvall. But not really expecting that to happen. And can see an argument for not doing that in a tough game from the start at least.

Steffen, I think that lady's brassiere is about to fall off.

Do you all remember March 1st 2023? When a stubborn Sheffield United side edged past Conte's Spurs to win 1-0 in the FA Cup, due to a very well taken Iliman Ndiaye goal? They progressed to the Quarter Finals, we went home in the drizzle. Even Kane missed a late chance.

I told you at the time that Ndiaye was a good prospect, but the N'Sayers turned their N'oses up at another N'winger. They said Spurs should have won, because we'd just beaten Cheatski in our chase for top 4. Two and a half years later and people are saying Ndiaye is a good player.

I'm great me.

Also a bit like when Spurs lost to Monaco in 2016 when they had a midfield of Fabinho, Bakayoko, Moutinho and Bernardo Silva and Radamel Falcao up top but ohhh noooo Spurs are supposed to beat Monaco because we're Spurs.

If only people would recognise my crown as King of Hindsight.

Anyway, COYS.

Monica Bellucci. I think there is an awful lot more male chest on display. SteffAn. You are an oracle and a King in some places. Surely my efforts will at least bring a point back to the Lane!

Was gonna ask who she is…absolute stunner. Brightened my Saturday morning Sir. Muchos gracias. And, of course, pictures of a topless Tom Jones are always welcome. Only missing the custard and badgers.

If Romero is back, I’d be in favour of playing VdV left back. I rubbished people in the summer who said we needed cover for Udogie as Spence was an excellent LB. It’s painfully obvious to me that, despite him being an excellent player, we have no width when he plays on that side. If even I can see it and accept it, Frank must see it. It really restricts our already limited ability to attack quickly.

So no idea what team he’ll play but we need a much better performance than Tuesday. I’m delighted to see everyone (fans, players and manager) accept how poor Tuesday was. It could have been spun as a great battling away point because of the score. Here’s hoping for better tomorrow.

Tough game after a tough CL game and with tough games to come

2-2 draw or 1-2 us

If it soothes the soul:
Fulham were hanging on doggedly, until their keeper Leno palmed a simple shot straight back into the path of Tonali, to tap in. He could EASILY have palmed it wide of the goal, but chose to put it right back into play, like Vicario is sometimes guilty of. Maybe it is the way keepers are trained e.g. they don't get utterly boll*cked if they palm a shot out into play.
Meanwhile, Sunderland score a sucker punch winner against the cheating billionaires of Cheatski; the keeper Sanchez clearly had his view impeded by an offside player, but he didn't make any complaint and Stockley Park sided with the smaller team for once, very nice VAR decision!

And if it soothes the soul further, Liverpool just got smacked by Brentford and their "set piece coach" minus Mbeumo and Wissa.
Strange things can happen, Cheatski and Pool can get pumped, MNU can win, anything can happen in this crazy league.
