****Tottenham Hotspur v BVB********* OMT Official

I suspect Frank feels Solanke is bringing stuff to the table that no-one else is atm. Tel has been playing ok, but what he brings if we're honest isn't particularly different to what Odobert does for example.

Tough on Tel but i understand Frank here

Solanke break down in warm up then

Likewise. I’d just seen it spoken about that it was an obligation to put Solanke back in once fit rather than a choice.

Going to be a whole load of youngsters on the bench for this match, not going to make a great impression if the crowd is toxic, they might end up thinking I would be better off away from all this if the oppurtunity comes along.
Gallaher probably already thinking I should have gone to Villa.

It's absolutely going to be toxic

The entire feeling around the fanbase is "what the fudge is this guy still doing here", which leads to "how incompetent does this board have to be"

Even a caretaker would have given a lift, instead we get dead man walking (he's going to be even more defensive), our great European home record is going to get humped and if not after this game, after Burnley the club will do the inevitable.

Man United fans have had a go at owners and Ratcliffe not so sure they have treated any of their managers badly even when consistently losing like last season.

Simons looks extremely uncomfortable!!!

Good to see Frank mentioning the inconsistency re: red cards, however it is hard not to think that Xavi is going to play hurt and that is a risk, albeit he has next to no choices.

Am I being unreasonable in asking why the fudge are we letting Simons play 'in full pain'? This game isn't that important, we lose and we are still likely going to qualify.

I'd suggest the game at Burnley is of far more importance and if he's in pain would rather wrap him up in cotton wool and be in a better condition for the league game at the weekend....

Oh I agree mate...it simply can't end well. Dortmund know he's hurt. Do we really think they'll say 'let's tackle gently'?!!!

Be nice if the players could pull their finger out and score a goal early so the clams in the seats have nothing to moan about.
