Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Interesting. We have the second smallest pitch alongside Palace, with Stoke being the smallest and Hull the largest.

Much of the information in that piece is inaccurate or out of date.

Stoke's pitch was 100 x 64 metres several years ago (under Pulis) but has since been increased to the standard size of 105 x 68m. That is the size now required by Premier League rules (Rule K.15) unless the nature of the stadium makes it impossible to have a pitch of those dimensions.

The quoted size of Hull's apparently huge pitch (18% bigger than most!!) is in fact the area of the whole playing surface. Their pitch is the standard 105 x 68m. http://kcomstadium.com/about-the-kcom-stadium

WHL is correctly stated at 6700 square metres (100 x 67m) and is the smallest in the PL. The new stadium will be 105 x 68m.

Indeed, even for a rag like the Daily Star you'd think someone would actually bother to check the figures from official sources, such as the Premier League Handbook 2016/17...

Aside from WHL, the only other stadiums to receive special dispensation this season are: Stamford Bridge, Anfield, Goodison and Selhurst Park.

Are we going to get an update with each tensioning? I do hope so! Tighter and tighter until one finally goes ping!

Oooooer missus!

Yeah, the photos are definitely wow, just wondered if it could be in breach of some secret discussion forum ethical guidelines prohibiting the posting of one forum's photos on another.

Or not.

I wouldn't have see them if you didn't post them, so thanks. Absolutely spectacular.

Few snippets following VR tour.

They have sold 92 of the 104 Tunnel Club memberships at an eye watering £50k for 2 seats in year 1. Then £20k per season.

The best premium seats on half way line are pretty much sold out but plenty available at the £5k per seat category.

They confirmed that the highest point of stadium roof will be just under the cabs of the cranes.

Roof will only be erected 3-4 months before completion.

Fit out commences shortly

They hope to offer hard hat tours next season and have recently installed an internal viewing platform
