Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

I was looking at the images of the new cladding over on the new stadium site and for some reason I thought of the final scene in Close Encounters where
the aliens
took over the synth with flashing multi coloured lights and all that.
Is that what we are expecting at NWHL? Aliens? Er...I mean these panels lit up from behind?

Indeed.

Fair point, but let's just wait til the fat ladies sings.

Its inherent to Spurs fans, isnt it? That pessimism, that nervousness to actually expect good things, that fear of everything going wrong...

We have come a long way since that was a legitimate defense against the life of a fan of this club.

Though honestly I kind of hope we never truly forget it.

EDIT - that said, we should also try to allow ourselves to enjoy the good times as well...

So true. Once bitten, twice bitten, actually more like TEN times bitten (I go back a very long way ) you learn never to count chickens until they're hatched, despatched and nice and tender on the dinner table . :D:D

Edit: with apologies for the awful mixed-metaphors cack.

Lasagne Gate
Chelski somehow winning the CL
losing 2nd to the scum when gave up after the chelski game

Just three reasons to never count any F'ing chickens until the F'ing chickens are locked up in a cage with three locks.

Is there going to be panels and glass to the right of the main west stand entrance? It looks a little exposed to me if the only thing going on is the perforated cladding.
