So I finally got to visit the San Mames yesterday. Me and the wife are in Bilbao for our wedding anniversary. Did the tour as well. Really recommend it if you find yourself in the area and have time to spare. Went to the game last night which ended in a 1-1 draw. Was great to finally see the stadium where we triumphed even if it was 4 months late.

With every passing second I could feel my rooster and balls shrinking back into my body, to hide from this abomination.
I had to turn it off after 231 seconds, for fear they would never come out again.

We should do a deal now and announce he’s coming in the summer. Have an interim manager and the players will be up for it to impress Poch for the rest of the season.
 
Found this beaut in a super fancy football shirt shop in Hong Kong. The food is cheap here, but is it cheap enough to justify spunking £200 on it....

So, it's the anniversary (by the day if not the date) of that great night in Bilbao.
I've been feeling mega fed-up today, and am fearing the worst for Sunday. But for now I'm going to put that out of my mind and dip into the videos and comments from that night, and from the parade.
Whether it will make me feel better, or just remind me of how bad things now are, remains to be seen.
But those moments deserve to be re-lived.

It's crazy how things changed in a year. Fingers crossed in a year they've turned around again
