I think we're taking a low-risk punt on this loan with a player the manager feels he can get working. Saving our money for further down the line. I know optically how it looks and am prepared to see how it all lands in the coming months.

I'd settle for Mudryk coming back and winning a League Cup with us LOL! Or any cup! Or simply being decent! Let's see.

Look, Rossi was banned for two years back in the day, came back and won a World Cup.
I'd settle for Mudryk coming back and winning a League Cup with us LOL! Or any cup! Or simply being decent! Let's see.

We've sacked 4 managers, won a European trophy and nearly got relegated twice since Mudryk's last kicked a ball in a game…. Maybe we’re more fudged than him

We are spending a fortune backing him, but isn't that what we have wanted all along? We're never going to find a manager that aligns perfectly with the general consensus of the fan base (if that even exists). We can't get everyone we want in. Managers/Coaches that have been in the game for a long time know far better than us what they are looking for in a player to suit how they want to play. If the player in question then have a poor game or ten and we can go "told ya!" - then so what? Bringing in whoever we as fans wanted in weren't going to be a guarantee either way, nor would it necessarily be a possibility for us to get whoever that would be. This Mikautadze guy everyone seems to want - he may very well turn out to be a complete dud and play in Turkey a couple of years from now (no offense to Turkey!). Look at that Gift Orban guy everyone loved just a couple of years ago.
We just don't know how things will pan out. RDZ is a well respected coach with a style of play very much aligned with the Tottenham way. He's gotten a treasure trove of players in now, and in my opinion, we saw contours of what we're trying to achieve on the pitch against Saudi Sportswashing Machine, but it will take time.
It just seems to me that whatever it is we do you can poke a hole in it and call it a mistake. There's not a decision we could possibly have taken that wouldn't be wrong. If we hired Splurge Kharganhozen, and he were to win us the league (but we didn't know it at the time of the appointment), the outrage would be immense! The constant outcry and noise from some of our fans claiming this and that and the other is wrong and so and such is more of a problem than what the club is doing at the moment, in my opinion. We're backing a manager for once, one that is highly respected and renowned for his style of play. Let's see how it goes.
Sorry for being so long winded about it, I'm just a bit frustrated at all the complaining.

A plan lead by the football leadership so every investment is sensible
The evidence will be what we see at the end of the season
But this manager has already thrown 3 players under the bus by naming them …. That weakens the club in all situations and was not needed
