Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Do you remember Werner and his abilities? This is the same but worse

What I remember the most about Werner is that when he first came in on loan he was actually decent with regards to assists but awful in finishing. The biggest mistake we made was not giving Postecoglu who he wanted that summer (Neto I believe) and instead taking the 'cheap' option to renew the loan - after which yes, he tanked in all aspects and big-time.

I am interested to know what you've seen of Mudryk in training and what-not recently.

If we had seriously wanted Ndiaye, we'd have paid the money earlier in the window surely...this seems to all be about RDZ having more senior squad players he feels he can rely on. I love Mikey Moore, but think a season at Köln playing regular football is enormously more beneficial to the player and (long-term) us.

Or we needed to raise the funds to do so.

It was noticeable how activity slowed down until we moved on Romero & Spence recently - Gakpo/Ndiaye deal was probably reliant on further outgoings

Could this be our greatest winger + defender double signing since Reid and Dawson?!

I still remember that banger Reid scored against Aston Villa (timestamped below).

Mudryk is done, according to the ITKs on X.

I guess that the nepo-babies can’t take out another loan against future earnings and now that European football next season is looking slightly less probable than it seemed a week ago there are fewer financial institutions interested in backing us…

Maybe. I honestly have no clue.

My read is that it was an all-in on Gakpo. That we had an agreement with him, providing Liverpool got a second player in. And that Gakpo's agent being Pep Guardiola's brother meant the moment City decided they wanted him we'd be gazumped by them. I always wondered exactly what we'd do with Ndiaye once everyone was fit and available (it felt that we'd need to shift Tel out and fast?), felt opportunistic to me?

If it is about keeping some semblance of balance in our expenditure versus incomings, I think that's actually a bit of a relief? With all the other changes in our club front and back, throwing endless piles of wonga without concern could see us in Villa's predicament at some point?

I don't remember a window like it, and if it ended right now I'd be happy with what we've tried to do.

Chelsea mate of mine says he'd be gutted if we got Mudryk. Rates him highly. Tosin, on the other hand ...

You can see the boy has skills.

My Chelsea mates think it’s hilarious we’re signing them and don’t rate either. Hopefully they’ll be proven wrong!
