This is what concerns me

I wonder what would happen should we gain no points from our first, say, four games with Tudor...do the club twist again, a la Stellini?

Let's hope we don't have to find out, but it's an interesting (if slightly terrifying) question.

Unfortunately that's highly likely why they hesitated for so long. In the end, it was cowardice.

Everyone knew since December Frank was dead, yes you can make 2 or 3 mistakes in a row, but you have to be brave and try to affect your own destiny vs. letting brick happen to you

I'm specifically referring to Talksport and the influencers on social media such as Youtube. But also, MSM. I don't know if you have noticed but in the last fortnight all it's been is "are Spurs going down?"

It's not hard to see how I misinterpreted your initial post, is it fair to summarise the point as the following? Media brands like Talksport discussing something which may happen, makes it more likely to happen. With respect, it's quite an out there hypothesis but maybe you're onto something.

It's hard to stop journalists / podcasters / media talking about things that are of interest to the public, that's kind of their modus operandi. It'd be a bit like trying to disuade tree surgeons from sorting out forests, or firemen from putting out fires etc etc

I've been too busy to notice or be bothered by it tbh. If we don't get enough points to remain in the division, we'll drop down one. Those are the conditions that we agree to by competing in the league. The players and coaching staff know this, whether some influencers talk about it or not. People slow down to observe a car crash on the other side of the motorway, it's in our nature.

Funny you mentioned Leicester, I was there yesterday rather sheepishly wearing the lunar new year kit at the coach station patiently (desperately) waiting to depart ha.
