If (when) we go down, we are not coming straight back up. we are going to be every team, in the championship cup final. these players cant handle that.
We will be luckyvto even get 1 more point.I'm fully resigned to us going down now. It will probably take at least three wins to avoid the drop. I just can’t see that happening from:
Sunderland (A)
Brighton (H)
Wolves (A)
Villa (A)
Leeds (H)
Chelski (A)
Everton (H)
Under normal circumstances that's actually an ok run in, but we're so devoid of anything these days I can totally see us losing every single game.
We will be without the terrible defenders for starters, i.e Romero, VdV, and Porro. We will have proper defenders hopefully. Gray and Bergvall, Madders and Sarr will be an ok midfield in the Championship. If (when) we go down, we are not coming straight back up. we are going to be every team, in the championship cup final. these players cant handle that.

Yeah, I'd have it around there. The psychological blow of yesterday will have been huge for the players, as it was for us fans.I think its an 80% chance we go down now.
Isn’t it an international break now? Good time to break and get some fitness into Udogie/Bergvall etc. I know he also gets a bit of stick here, but I do miss Bentacur and his composure taking the ball off defenders and think he will be a plus.
We 100% lose the boy wonder out in Germany too when we go down, no chance his old man doesnt push through a move and I have no doubt we would cash in either.Have to be honest too, while I absolutely do not want it to happen and I don’t see any of the romanticised upsides, we 100% deserve to go down.
We’ve been absolutely dreadful on the pitch and catastrophically run off it. For a club with our resources to be where we are is the clusterfudge to end all clusterfudges.
If this was Woolwich, Chelsea, The Dippers, City or United, we’d have no sympathy for them because you can only end up where we are through rank incompetence and gutlessness.
That notwithstanding, I’ll support the team 100% until the end of the season hoping we can get away with it and that it teaches us a very big lesson.
With our owners, they will be thinking that we avoided relegation on this finance model … let’s dial it up another notch and take it from there. Surely a few more bad decisions will see us through again.Have to be honest too, while I absolutely do not want it to happen and I don’t see any of the romanticised upsides, we 100% deserve to go down.

I've been having similar thoughts recently, I pay around the same as you, think it's £1070 currently and not sure what I will do when push comes to shove but at the moment I will not be paying that for a season in the Championship if that's where we end up.I know that ST prices following a relegation have been touched upon - should there be a separate thread? Maybe there will be once the prices are announced.
Anyway here’s a couple of my thoughts on it. Moderately long and very rambling: sorry.
I have one of the cheaper STs at around £1100. I haven’t enjoyed watching us for at least 2 or 3 seasons now (who has?). Each match is 11 hours from door to door and probably costs a total of approx £100 once food, transport, a beer or two are factored in. Most of all, it’s a Sat or Sun away from my family. In short, my biggest hobby has ceased to enthrall or entertain me. It’s purely that peculiarly fanatical football brand loyalty that’s keeping me trudging to N17 every other week.
I’ve had a bit of a look at Championship STs and, as best I can see, £1100 is more than the most expensive Championship ST available at any of the clubs currently in that division. Thus, I’d be surprised and disgusted if Spurs thinks it can freeze the price. No doubt they’d argue that you get more games for the money (see sums below) but I don’t think that will wash in any way, shape or form. It’s not like we’d be playing the same calibre of opposition.
I suppose the question is what would you lot be content to pay to watch Championship football (note I’ve not used the word ‘happy’)? And what do you think the Club will charge?
I think it’ll require a huge shift in how the club treats its fans. Currently the Club can treat its fans purely as customers because it knows that 60k will be there every match, patiently standing in line to spend £200 each in the club shop and pay £7 for a pie and £7 for a pint. In my view that wont be possible in the championship. I think so many long suffering but hitherto loyal fans will finally turn their backs on the Club that has mistreated them for years. I don’t think the club hierarchy has any idea how cataclysmic that could be: if they did, they wouldn’t have allowed the ST Renewal emails to go out when they did, excitedly promising a price freeze.
We could easily end up with a half full stadium every week and revenue streams so massively reduced that our only way of escaping back up (being rich) is chipped away at month by month, season by season. Yes that’s cynical; it’s also very possible.
Me? I don’t think I’d renew for more than £30 a game. There’s a lot of things I can do for £30 that are more fun than watching Spurs play.
1100/23 =47.826
1100/19=57.895

Looking at some data (a year or two old) and Championship season ticket prices seem to range from 400-700 for the most expensive at current clubs, maybe a few over 700.
If we go down and Spurs drop mine to £800 I'll probably renew.
I’ll probably renew even if it’s the same price. Not because I think it’s right but because I’m proud to have a season ticket for our club and feel I’m contributing. I know that’s kind of idealistic and naive. I guess I’m one of those who deserves whatever he gets because people like me would be allowing ENIC to get away with absolute murder by charging over a grand for Championship football.
I’d fudging despise ENIC for it but would still love the club and, rightly or wrongly, I consider myself a supporter of the club rather than a customer of ENIC.
I FVCKIN' HOPE SO!They are transitory custodians.
And who knows, when all is said and done it might end up being a more enjoyable experience than of the past few yearsI’ll probably renew even if it’s the same price.
