The *WHEN* we go down thread

I'm fully resigned to us going down now. It will probably take at least three wins to avoid the drop. I just can’t see that happening from:

Sunderland (A)
Brighton (H)
Wolves (A)
Villa (A)
Leeds (H)
Chelski (A)
Everton (H)

Under normal circumstances that's actually an ok run in, but we're so devoid of anything these days I can totally see us losing every single game.
We will be luckyvto even get 1 more point.
Every one of those teams are better than us.

If (when) we go down, we are not coming straight back up. we are going to be every team, in the championship cup final. these players cant handle that.
We will be without the terrible defenders for starters, i.e Romero, VdV, and Porro. We will have proper defenders hopefully. Gray and Bergvall, Madders and Sarr will be an ok midfield in the Championship.
Our strikers are already championship standard. That is, i think Solanke will stay, as no one in the PL will buy him. Ditto Tel and Oderbert. Richy will be gone but Micky Moore will be back. Kulusevski will be ok at that level, or he will have retired due to the injury. Kudus could still be with us, or West Ham buy him back for 30 mill.

Isn’t it an international break now? Good time to break and get some fitness into Udogie/Bergvall etc. I know he also gets a bit of stick here, but I do miss Bentacur and his composure taking the ball off defenders and think he will be a plus.

I only managed to catch the first 40mins of the forest game and tbh thought we had them, they had a couple of chances but we looked the far more dangerous. Solanke looked pretty anonymous though with Richy doing most of the work so think they all need to take them time to reset and go again. If we can’t start to turn it around after the break (quickly) then I will be concerned but still enough games left to get clear

I think its an 80% chance we go down now.
Yeah, I'd have it around there. The psychological blow of yesterday will have been huge for the players, as it was for us fans.

Looking at Forest's run-in, they look the ones most likely to continue to ease their way out of it first.

I agree, get some of the walking wounded back.

Have to be honest too, while I absolutely do not want it to happen and I don’t see any of the romanticised upsides, we 100% deserve to go down.

We’ve been absolutely dreadful on the pitch and catastrophically run off it. For a club with our resources to be where we are is the clusterfudge to end all clusterfudges.

If this was Woolwich, Chelsea, The Dippers, City or United, we’d have no sympathy for them because you can only end up where we are through rank incompetence and gutlessness.

That notwithstanding, I’ll support the team 100% until the end of the season hoping we can get away with it and that it teaches us a very big lesson.

We 100% lose the boy wonder out in Germany too when we go down, no chance his old man doesnt push through a move and I have no doubt we would cash in either.

Its a grim outlook
