The we are staying up thread

Agree they are mentally done.

I think they collectively made a mistake at the end of the Arsenal game, they acted like they were down. I think they assumed we’d beat Leeds and make it too difficult for them. Lo and behold we gave them another chance.

But today they started like their heads had completely gone. And then after the game Nuno is talking about how they have a lot of anxiety and nervousness. Again, talking like they’re down.

I think RDZ has done an amazing job by comparison on the psychological elements. Tel makes a mistake, he says he’s giving him a kiss. We concede a last minute equaliser, he talks about not letting anyone in at training who isn’t smiling. He says we can win 5 games in a row.

I’m sure our players are nervous too, but from the outside looking in I’d actually been looking at West Ham up to the last couple weeks as having the momentum, not really being nervous. But they’ve let that cat out now.

don't take anything for granted til it's all done and dusted

would love getting a point or points at the shed (dream for us is to win there, imagine that lol)

I've been impressed by the two teams who have come up and stayed, Leeds and Sunderland have really take on the challenge of the EPL and performed really well

NUno set the team up with 5 at the back and Saudi Sportswashing Machine capitalized early.

Once he fixed that west ham looked like a good team , but it feels like they ran out of time.

i see so much similarity in them and us

- strikers not clinical - callum wilson is as bad as richarlison - poor first touch and can't hold up the ball to play others in
- very predictable attack - only one creative attacker in crysensio (but he is much better than odobert and tel though)

which makes them easy to defend against and then increases confidence to attack against.

if you watched the whole game you would see west ham dominate after the second goal up to the 90th minute - with more touches in Saudi Sportswashing Machine's penatly box, hitting the crossbar and shooting straight at the keeper a few times.

i don't think its a forgone conclusion and i hope it doesn't come down to the final day, however I believe west ham are capabale of beating leeds.

Nuno fudged up plain and simple....and his demeanour post game reflected that.
it wasn't that clear cut.

he had 5 at the back to contain Saudi Sportswashing Machine high pressing and creative midfield (tonali, gimares). but the goals came from quick counters and pacy passes through the midfield and Saudi Sportswashing Machine were clinical. woltamande is brazilian than richy is on the ball.

watch the highlights, after the change west ham had many chances to equalize.

eddie howe's push and run is very entertaining to watch. should have been spurs manager instead of ange.
