*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

Chelsea’s squad is awful except for their midfield. They have Pedro, Neto and Cucurella but those three and their midfield aside, I wouldn’t want any of their players.

They have a squad with little depth in key areas. An example of this is that Delap is their second striker.

How has their squad been managed so poorly and with so much spent?!

Got to remember Arsenal will be juggling the Champions league and the Prem, at some point they are going to have to make a choice as i don’t think they are winning both.

Meanwhile Cherki is juggling the football whilst €iteh surger past them in the PL

With Rosenior sacked, has there ever been a season where three different clubs all had three different managers? (Assuming they appoint someone before the seasons out)

Cherki is somewhat of a decent footballer. «Looks promising» according to Neville, hahaha.
I agree with Neville! 95% of the time he holds on to the ball far too long, or tries to take on too many players. He's technically brilliant, but is far to fond of keeping the ball.

When I said we should buy him 2 years ago it was his attitude that people said was an issue
The guys got everything including a top attitude
What he lacks is histrionics and

He’s brilliant - got a bit of Hazard about him.

City struggling to break down Burnley here, and playing very nonchalantly in defense - they need to score soon.

That may be so, I don’t watch enough City to really have an opinion on that. He’s impressed me every time I’ve seen him, a real maverick - hard to not like one of those.
