The Official 2020/21 Premier League Thread

After that excellent Streets backing track added to his post promotion interview, I’ve just watched Parker interviewed on MOTD and it just feels like it should be there all the time!

Frustrating that stupid points dropped against Saudi Sportswashing Machine and West Ham could be the reason we aren't top tomorrow but this league is wide open for anyone who can put a good run together. Liverpool were poor last night as they have been in a few games and City aren't at the races yet.

We can win this.

Spurs will soundly defeat Burnley. One look at those claret and blue kits and they'll see red. Not a good day to play Spurs after that last result.

Good result today at Soufamt'n. League is laying down for us to run away with it.

Just winning last week would have been enough to go top tomorrow night.

Having watched Southampton today and much of West Ham yesterday, i think both are well drilled in a system and a set style of play, it bodes well for us that we had periods of being completely dismissive of their plan and blew them away for periods of the game.

City yesterday looked a bit like us under Poch where they kept the ball moving but we're just not hurting West Ham enough.

If I was Brenda Rodders, I'd sub Christian Fuchs right now! He's having one of those days. Twice he's been asleep when Leicester have pushed up to catch Arsenal offside, he's let easy balls slip under his foot and out of play, he almost scored an own goal, and now got booked with a horrible tackle.
