Aha. So the "integrity" of the league (which required us to play Lasagna-gate) doesn't apply when they are at risk of losing all the money.
e.g. No home advantage. Having to train in sub-optimal facilities. Insufficient rest between matches.

Why is that miserable for the players? They would have had their fill of family life by then, and they will be well looked after. Presumably anyone vulnerable (do we have any asthmatics in our team?) we be exempt.

Have always thought he comes across as a selfish tit, which is why I was never keen on him for us (alongside that he seems completely ordinary in most games I watch him in). This seems to confirm it.
