**The Electronic Music Thread**

I never made it to Blue Note, but you could pick a Headz tune a mile off. Such a distinctive sound and largely my gateway into DnB.

I remember rinsing this a lot when I was too young to go to clubs which would probably be the stuff you’re into if you were a Headz fan - https://www.discogs.com/release/117...o_H3Tol6IvUEIV3gqbfsZgfC-O7h370FcYKqBqmolvAFt

Oh yeah, a classic collection of the era. Platinum Breakz 1 & 2 are staples!
Thanks to both you and @WillWeEverBeGoodAgain for resurrecting this thread: much needed right now!!!

I've got Omar S + Octave One at The Roundhouse in a few weeks - they are playing it as a gig in terms of times, so I could be wrapped up in bed by midnight rather than just getting started as would have been the case ten years ago

Amen to that! I sometimes go to block parties thrown by our local dance promoters. Start at 3 and end at 10pm with an 'after-party' ticket for the youth to do the 4am thing. It's brilliant. You can enjoy a bit of Carl Cox or whoever into the night, before toddling off at 10 and being in the sack at a reasonable hour hahahahaha!

Octave One brings back some memories, there somewhere in the vinyl collection.

(If it's the brothers from Detroit you're talking about)?
