Fantastic bowling from England today, good start by Cook, Compton fails again and slowly fails, not sure he should be the opener in the Ashes, Root is the one..

England slowing it down again with a poor run rate, sometimes its no good having Cook, Compton and Trott as 1st 3, you need a bit of ooomph at times

If all were fit come July, who would your 11 be for the 1st test ??

Id drop Compton and open with Root, not sure who would bat 6, not really too sure about Bairstow

Cook
Root
Trott
KP
Bell
???????????????
Prior
Broad
Swann
Finn
Anderson

Saw Robert Key play a wonderful knock yesterday. Hopefully giving up the captaincy will see him flourish again.

Good start by Anderson, horrific start by Dernbach. What does he do?

Not great batting for England, but if the tests are anything to go by it's possible to defend low totals..

Dernbach really is awful - 0/87 and has the worst economy of any bowler who has bowled more than 1,000 balls in ODI

Guptil isn't messing around, what an innings today. 189 not out of 155 balls.

Shows that England without Broad / Finn dont have the depth in thr one day bowling attack, NZ are a good one day side thats for sure

Hahahahahaahahahahha

India claimed a 243-run victory over Australia in their Champions Trophy warm-up match after bowling the defending champions out for 65 runs.

Dinesh Karthik's 146 not out and 91 from captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni helped India - at one stage struggling on 55-5 - to post 308 runs in Cardiff.

Then Umesh Yadav (5-18) and Ishant Sharma (3-11) tore through Australia.

Adam Voges (23) top-scored for Australia, who were missing captain Michael Clarke.

Geroge Bailey, captaining the Australian side in the absence of Clarke, said: "It was certainly not the way we wanted to play but if you are going to have a game like that, you may as well have it in a practice game."

Just had a £5 ew on Guptil to be top scorer in the ICC Champions Trophy at 33/1, I fancy NZ to be a bit of a surprise package and this guy is in red hot form

Morkel heading off mid over.. injured.

India at 209-1 off 34 overs.. they could be looking at setting a couple of records if they can kick on in the powerplay and the last ten overs..
