Anyone got any experience of doing this?

Thinking of putting a grand or so in maybe - better returns than im likely to get with any savings account for a few years. (although higher risk of course)

Somewhere like Zopa is about as safe as a bank

They impose some fairly strict credit checking

I say go for it

they do, and for the first time i will go with them (other sites have better rates of return etc - but sometimes greed comes before a fall (or is that fool?!).

the one thing Zopa dont have is a fund to protect if someone does default.

have you used Zopa southstand?
