Anyone had one before? I'm having one tomorrow. Meant to be driving to Birmingham to see my girlfriend shortly after, will I be ok to drive?

I had a colonoscopy last year. The hospital advise you to not drive for 24 hours after. In fact they made a point of asking for a contact number for the person who was collecting me afterwards. I certainly felt a little groggy for a few hours after. Had my op at 10.30am in the morning and tbh didnt feel 100% until a fair few hours later.
Worse part of everything was the stuff you take the night before to' clear you out' I think that takes more out of you than the actual op itself
