Many of us here cannot begin to fathom the fear which must be running through the Pakistani and muslim communities.
In fact, add the Indian community. People from African nations. Iranians. Sikhs and B'hai's too, because let's face it, the triggered racists doing the bidding of their diog whistlers don't discriminate!!!!! They're ALL the same...

This disgraceful psychopath is yet another of the triggered mentally unstable people who are both among us and becoming increasingly destabilized by the sheer volume of hateful rhetoric echoing around them. It's appalling on all levels.

You are unfortunately not going to get it in the numbers needed. Two foot Tommy is today almost having a victory lap on twitter about it. This country has gone to the dogs with its bigotry in the last decade, the 90s and 00s were fairly decent, had almost a new world feel to it of inclusion, now its gone back to the pits with cnuts finding an anonymous voice online to spout flimflam.

No I know, and I get that. You know they’ll be quiet, I just want you and others with similar backgrounds to know that even if it doesn’t feel like it, I still do believe the majority (on here and off) stand with everyone regardless of skin colour and religion, even if society has more bigots than ever.

Nothing really. My Mrs and sisters have all said they are wary being out now. I'll be honest. I'd love em to try it with me. But they won't. Pussies.

And now they see the politicians and media will respond very quietly and move on quickly when they attack Muslims they are further emboldened.

The Golders Green response was perfect. All out. Make sure everyone knows to leave Jewish people the fuk alone.

I worry the same for Muslims will only happens once there's a very serious incident. Even more than Glasgow which was a terror attack.
 
And when these attacks happened, be it in Golders Green or Glasgow, the anti semites and the Islamophobes salivate. It's insane how far the hate has got to.

'what can be done about it?' was referring to the 'education' bit and effectively 'mini-me' that father's, uncles, mums and aunties create....you can't really step in and interfere with a family dynamic (unless something illegal happens or social services should know of). All you can hope is along the way kids run into some role models that are angels.
(apologies if you did catch my drift)

You worst nightmare must be some event/incident going down very local to you, and the mob descend?

It's maybe not the right way to respond, but as I said about the Belfast protest/riot...a sting operation shellacking might make some of the toerags think twice.

If the far right came to Luton they'd get battered senseless. And i would be doing everything I could to stop it from happening. Violence begets violence.

But the thing is, we are not a monolithic community where we have community leaders. We did, maybe 20 years ago. Now it isn't a thing. Which is good in a way but it's bad for those scenarios.
