I honestly think Kulusevski is finished, or at least will never be the same player. More likely that Kudus comes back soon and nails down the RW spot.
We must be going all in for Savinho to play on the left, with Tel, Savinho and Oderbert when hes back all able to play on either wing if needed.

Apart from Senesi and Robbo, who can honestly say they knew about any of our transfer dealings this summer? I don't recall back in March fans writing that we would be nicking Tonali from the Geordies or that Van Hecke and Fernandes would be through the door for the pre-season. Lanks and Vuskovic were nailed on 1st teamers whilst Davies was off to pastures new.
I've not predicted anything correctly all summer but enjoyed the ride so far. Can't wait for the next part.

I think signing defensive options and midfield is a damn side easier than getting the right attacking options. Attackers always cost more, there is more risk of it being a flop. I have zero issues with us taking our time on it, providing there is a plan to improve it. RDZ saying there is more to come gives me that confidence

Am I the only one finding this whole drawn out process utterly tedious now? City not only want more than double what they paid for him, but if the reports are true they just keep stalling and making us wait. If we are to keep waiting then I hope he lives up to all this effort.

Is that perhaps a big assumption though? I think a lot of us feel that Spurs are waiting on some outgoing deals to cover our next set of expenditure on a couple of players. Is it perhaps our club that is slowing down a signing like Savinho?

Maybe you could be right. I’m basing what I’ve said on the reports that City want to buy a replacement first. They were said to be after Diomande. But I concede that it’s possible that we are waiting, or happy to wait, until we have sold other players.
Either way, it’s been dragging on since last summer. So just want it to be done or we walk away and focus on another target.

It's definitely intriguing. Perhaps the biggest secret of the summer is that Romero is off to City and Savinho and Marmoush are heading to Spurs.
Now wouldn't that be an eye opener?

That’s all speculation. It’s just as likely that we are the ones stalling in case a better option comes along.
Also worth knowing that over the past 5 seasons we have averaged less than 2 first team signings by this point in the window.
I'm not sure we're genuinely pushing for this one, all the links are mostly from twitter. I'm sure if he was made available at a fair price we'd be considering it but doesn't feel like a proper target. I think we get someone from left field but more pressing is a no 10 for me with Maddison unlikely to be fully fit until the new year.

Maybe its us delaying it, as we have a cashflow problem until we get Romero and Vicario etc out the door?
One curious thing is we're not linked to any other LWs, other than maybe Gakpo. And we can't going into the season with Tel as our only LW, esp as he's arguably our best CF at the moment too
