Oh Ghod. He’s going to get the Manager of the Month curse isn’t he?
Not to worry: El Woolwich have won every one of their PL games in October...phew(!)

'We won't win every game'
Oh blimey....don't say things like that!
Lmao
System manager with some flexibility, possession but attractive to watch, players bought in, well done
Has anybody noticed he seems far less volatile than his reputation? still calls out reporters (the bit against comparing Fernandes to Modric was brilliant) but seems comfortable here?
First club where I think he knows it’s his biggest chance of taking a team all the way. Started well in Brighton but would always have to sell players off, Marseille would never be PSG.
This is actually an incredible job for a manager right now. Owners who are willing to invest, be aggressive in the market, AND trust the manager with the players he wants. And for someone like RDZ who has a very clear idea of how to play, this is what he has always wanted, surely.
Poor blokeKind of my thoughts, he knows this is his big job
Yes, and maybe he has matured a bit too.Kind of my thoughts, he knows this is his big job

For the last couple of weeks whilst we’ve been winning yes.
There was an amount of petulance before that, particularly over the Richie situation.
I make that comment based on general behaviour and responses by him in more than one press conference.‘It’s not my call, it’s the owners’ it’s hardly petulance is it? He seemed pretty even keeled about the whole thing.
How do people think we are defending? Has our defending gotten better as a unit, or is it just the same as it has been but we are just not being punished?

The midfield have been so dominant, the defence have had fewer 'intense periods of pressure'How do people think we are defending? Has our defending gotten better as a unit, or is it just the same as it has been but we are just not being punished?

Playing against 10 men probably helps. Having a lorra, lorra possession also probably helps. Not having so many brain farts definitely helps, but I can think of a few occasions where our press-baiting strategy has led to some hairy moments where we weren't punished - a couple involving the otherwise excellent Fernandes, and one involving "Nastassja" Kinsky. How do people think we are defending? As the 'team' get better, the workload on the defence reduces (obviously taking into account external forces ie the quality of opposition). But all things being equal, retaining possession, increased percentage of possession, greater comfort in playing out and from the back, big uptick in desire, sum of it's parts rising above just good performances of individuals, embedded systems, improved fitness, willingness not just to do something for yourself but also for your teammates. How do people think we are defending?
