Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Taking a step back, the power RdZ has wielded during this window has been unprecedented. Tonali - from Brescia. Mudryk - been together at Shaktar. JPvH - knew him at Brighton. Those three alone are potentially £250m. Getting rid of really good players like Sarr and Spence. Wow. He has no excuses anymore, and if it does not work out, the choices we made in this window may appear pretty bizarre in retrospect.

Let's hope it does work out though.

Honestly i've been underwhelmed by rdz so far - players look unfit and cohesion is poor.

Granted he's not had a settled squad and still has a lot of injuries to manage that will not allow him a fully settled squad, the team looks far from fluent. Especially in attack where its too slow wastes all that fancy and risky build-up.

On the positive note there has been progress and better football with senior players returning to the line up and this must continue despite the new faces recently added, because we're off to a slow start. I'd give dezerbi leeway until the end of the international break. hopefully we have enough to snatch a few points because there are some winnable games before.

De Zerbi has been backed, so will its fair that scrutiny increase.

After a backing like this DeZerbi will be in the unenviable position of being the first manager who will take sole blame for any poor performances. No one can blame Levy or ENIC now, this season falls on him. I hope he’s up to the task
They will still blame the owners and Lange and Vini.

while RDZ kinda deserved a bigger voice given that Lange's transfers has looked clumsy before his arrival, i wonder if lange has given up too much responsibility in squad building to RDZ.

lange cannot be absolved from responsibility if we overspent and ended up with an underperforming squad because of a lack of depth. if rdz goes, so should lange. in my view the owners and vinai have backed them BOTH.

Honestly I don’t get some on here. For years we have not backed the manager like this and most had their arms in the air. Now that we have finally backed a manager and we have had some poor results but shown some green shoots in the process; we don’t need to over analyse everything.

It’s going to be a tough situation to turn two years of being relegation fodder into winning the premier league. Some really need a reality check. This is not championship manager where you buy players and they gel on stats alone and climb up the league winning game after game.

For all the money we have spent and recouped, we have over hauled the team including the management.

It’s now down to the manager and the big personalities to start kicking on. If we don’t back the manager and take a few on the chin in the process then I really dont understand what some expect.

Equally your response is massively disproportionate to the conversations on here, no one has said they don't back the manager, no one is saying it will fail. At worse people have said the two games so far have not been good enough which is fair.

I have not seen a single person believe it won't be tough and they don't back RBZ

I’m reading in between the little digs.
