Richarlison

I'm not engaging on your views on the athletes, my point was that you seem to only have two things on your mind. You're entitled to your opinions on both subjects as far as I can see it, it's just whether it's fruitful to repeatedly state them. If you're having a good time that's key I guess!

When you say debating without making it personal, I gather you mean personal about posters and the players are fair game? Why are you being kinder to strangers on the internet than the actual human beings that play and give their best for the club we support? Maybe I misremembered you stating you hate Richy's stupid face and haircut in a recent omt, I bet he's devestated some nomark on the internet doesn't care for his appearance.

Creating an exaggeration of an argument posed by people you don't agree with and then dismissing it as something people have actually said is an odd way to feel good about yourself but each to their own.

Of course you won’t — I wasn’t expecting you to. If someone doesn’t share the same black-and-white views as you, with no room whatsoever for nuance or ambiguity, then I suppose it’s much easier to just imply bigotry right?

Perhaps you can answer the actual question, though: why did you change the subject in the first place?

I’ll hold my hands up and say the comments I made about Richarlison were uncalled for. They were OTT, and I accept that. It’s a football forum, though. People vent, get carried away and say things in the heat of the moment. That’s hardly unusual.

I could, I suppose, take a leaf out of your book and spend my time acting as some sort of unwanted forum moral police, jumping on everyone whose opinion or choice of words I don’t agree with. Like a modern day Mary Whitehouse. But that wouldn’t make for much of a football forum would it.

THESE are the moments I expect the manager to show his quality. Once the window is shut, and everyone knows where they are, there can only be opportunities, not rifts.

Not when we're still 3 players over the overseas squad limit (Sarr admittedly looks gone for one of those). Kulusevski is back now, so he presumably doesn't miss out

Good for him!!!!!

I thought that was a very heartfelt and honest statement.
He has my backing as a human being regardless of what happens for us as a club.
If anyone actually gives a brick about him, they should be mindful of his self-declared mental health issues, and his subsequent strength in addressing them.

I know I am in a firm minority here when I say if sticks around I will not be unhappy as he is another kind of striker - one that scores scruffy goals.

I personally have little doubt that he and RDZ could still work together very well. They both seem quite passionate and on the sleeve, so if he is here on Wed AM, I think it'll be 'I love u let's do this' and onwards!

I agree with you on the personalities, they can definitely work together. But do you see him able to function in this system?

I could see it as a striker under Ange who purely needs to be a poacher. And as a physical left winger. But the difference between Richy and Marmoush in the build up was STARK for me. Solanke can do it. I don’t think Richy can.

Numbers check ( I usually get it wrong ) , if these deals go ahead and I see Tosin is HG ,so when Simons returns all's well, goodbye Richie.

1, Kinsky 2 Dubravka 3 Porro 4 Hecke , 5 Senesi , 6 VDV , 7 Robertson 8 Udogie 9 Tonali 10 Fernandes 11 Bentancur 12 Kudus 13 Savio 14 Marmoush 15 Deki, 16 Mudryk

Barring injuries he’ll probably only ever be chucked on with 15 minutes to go in situations in which we’re trying to overturn a deficit; in which case he’ll only be required to do his usual running around like a headless chicken act in the hope that one deflects in off his arse.

Don’t blame him at all for standing his ground, and he’s always seemed like a decent and honest bloke. If he stays hopefully he can scuff a few goals.

It’s all incredibly messy though.

He is our best finisher
He just isn’t our best kicker of the ball
His record for one touch finishes is great
Ask him to do anything else as a CF and it’s not his thing
But I do think he will be gone tomorrow
Someone will come in for him and do a deal

Can’t help thinking a deal elsewhere would be the best thing for everyone at this point, so hope you’re right.

I don't begrudge him standing his ground on personal terms, but I've never rated his footballing ability and wanted him out since the day after he arrived, so if we weren't so desperately short of options at this stage, I'd give him away, personally. Cancel his contract and replace him with an academy prospect. Only my opinion, because he seems like a lovely guy, but as a CF, I think he sucks.

Sarr, Odobert and Xavi. Last two won't be registered before Jan.
And anyway, what are you saying? That if he stays you would NOT look at crack on until January and get the most you can out of him as is necessary? THAT would be insanity!

I think when we need a goal off the bench, yes. I think when we have the ball and are moving fast with the ball arriving quickly in the box? Absolutely. I think when teams press us and we have to go long, no.
Let's see. He has always been divisive...
