Richard Griffiths RIP

Never saw Withnail & I but saw him in Bird Of Prey, very good.

And that cooking thing with Samantha J Anus.

Saw him on the stage last year in the sunshine boys, he did not look well and spent most of the evening sat down even though you could tell the character should have been standing in some scenes.

Was good in the movies but i never seen any harry potter so i would not know about that, but seen him a few times in the theatre and he was very good. Do not mean to be nasty but he must have known he would not make old bones considering the size he went to.

Would I be correct in saying he had a sex scene with a young Patsy Kensit?

RIP, fantastic actor.

If you have not seen Withnail and I, get a copy. One of the great comedies I have ever seen. Full of pathos too.
Have always heard good stuff about it but correct me if I'm wrong, I always thought it was aimed at a female audience.

Edit: Just downloaded a copy so myself and The Enemy can watch it at our leisure.

A Handmade production (George Harrison Production) A laugh out loud comedy, My favourite scene is when Withnail orders wine in the tea room, but it also has a very sad tone, concerning the personal tragectory of the individual, but also about the end of an era, "they're selling hippy wigs in Woolworths."

Indeed. Brilliant...
