I think the Russian leaders are more than happy to sacrifice a few hundred thousand people to hold on as long as possible while they bomb the brick out of Ukraine and get rid of the native population in occupied areas.

That is as maybe but they are losing the battles.
You have to remember a Russian victory will be accompanied with a genocide and full displacement of the Ukrainian people.
 
There appear to be 20k Russians on the wrong side of the river now trying to get out, and they are being pummeled by the Ukrainians. Not a trap but a rout.

It’s November 11th today and it is jarring that Russia still seeks to continue to fight a losing battle.

It seems the military command announced the withdrawal on television before actually advising many of those soldiers on the wrong side of the river. Cue panic and chaos.

I saw that. It was very staged. For domestic consumption primarliy I would think, but very weird.

The Russian media watchers are noticing Putin is attempting to shift blame for the fudgeups to the army now. He's a genocidal megalomanic but he too must see the writing on the wall.

Navalny has a list of 6000 enablers to Putin’s regime - that will include Solovyev- a man of the people with villas and a billionaire lifestyle in the west financed by the corruption and theft he rails against.

It’s not just Putin who needs to go it is the bulk of people in that list.

I think they might have sanctioned some of Solovyev's ill-gotten gains already. I must google it.

The reason they believe it's ukrainian is allegedly it's tragectory shows it coming from ukraine. They believe it was fired trying to shoot down russian missiles.

Ofcourse that information may be incorrect or the us not wanting to be drawn into a war against russia. We'll see.
