Bottom line, we ****ed up. Agreeing to this game was a mistake. Now we only have one remotely competitive game going into the new season.

Once again. No.....we didn't **** up. Celtic did.

It was their responsibility to look at their fixture schedule and decide whether or not to sign up to the contract which obliged them to play a strong team against Spurs. We fulfilled our side of the bargain. Celtic didn't. The organiser is therefore quite right to suggest that Celtic not be paid their full fee.
 
Shame we can't draw Celtic in the Europa League playoffs - would have been great to put 6 past them again.

Baldini or Levy? Surely wasn't Sherwood as he'd be too busy dealing with the first team games.
 
Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but the Schalke game is sold out, and will be broadcast on ITV4.
 
i do wish Sandro would get rid of that beard.....just in those pics he looks old and unfit

They use to say the same about Robben when he was 22 years old at Chelsea, but he was still the fastest attacker running with the ball during the World Cup so really it means sweet FA
