She is doing her job representing her constituents.
Rather than other mps who think they should represent people that arrive in this country illegally have never contributed and commit crimes.

Sad world we are living in and part of the blame lays with all political partys. It the suckers in socity believing one party is better then the other.

I wasn't linking it to asylum seekers or a spike or otherwise in volumes. I was linking it to the BBC quote of Cheshire Police spokesman that they hadn't had any reports in the area in question of the type articulated by the MP.
 
I think Starmer may have got it just about right on Israel. We need to protect our relationship with the US, but I do think some of the current reports of Israeli conduct in Gaza are beyond the pale. October 7th and the Israeli response must be the end. Two wrongs don't make a right and by stating "cease and desist or we will formally recognise a Palestinian state" we are in think in the only place we can be. It is an almost impossible situation. The key goal has got to be to convince Trump that similarly to his stance on Ukraine that lasting peace in the middle east is in everyone's interests and that will only be achieved by a hard-man stance towards both sides - Israel have got to be presented with "two-state solution or the end of international support and protection". End of story.

Well I think its certainly something that can be thrown in there but reality is more about finding a lasting framework that both sides can get behind so while I don't disagree that 1967 borders could be the starting point if Hamas/Hezbollah and Iran could be nudged to a line drawn on current boundaries and that goes to appeasing the nut-jobs propping up Netanyahu then has to be an element of pragmatism at play. Important outcome is to have a free, democratic and growing Palestine with international recognition and support where we can help grow economy, end suffering and promote growth and opportunities.

Israeli occupies 60% of the West Bank (Area C). That's not sustainable in any sense.

Netanyahu's government will all be off to the Hague soon enough anyway. It will catch up with them, the same as it did the Serb regime for Srebrenica

Realistically though a two state solution just isn't on Netanyahu's radar. He needs to disappear for it to be an option.

My understanding of racism is lived experience. I've been beaten up as a teen while being called a Paki. I know what it feels like to be a British Pakistani in a world where Reform and others make me out to be some sort of threat or imposter.

A lot of us got beaten up as a teenager. I got stabbed 3 times by a gang of somalians. Cause i tried to stop them stealing my mates moped.

Did I say they did beat him up. You said as teenagers a lot of us got beaten up. After he gave a real life experience. You didn't mention the area or street. I just pointed out there was a difference between you helping a mate which is a good thing & someone being beaten up because of his colour.
