There's nothing really substantial about the rumours regarding Grealish, Martial, Madisson, Modric, Kovacic, Bale etc but they all had/have threads

This feels like the kind of Plan B signing that I (probably naively) thought that we wouldn't be making this summer. After not doing much early in his career, Plea (who is 25) blew up last season for Nice, scoring 1 in 2. But if you look closer at his numbers, he significantly outperformed his expected goals. This one feels a little bit like Janssen to me.

Hopefully it's just a smokescreen.

I think they are just talking about N’Koudou and N’Jie. Both came with promise and then delivered exciting moments in isolation. Maybe not given sufficient chances.
