Players Out: Rumours and Discussion

Grant Hall and Massimo Luongo has according to BBC joined Swindon Town for a season long loan.
They've also signed Jack Barthram who we released, not sure what happened with Nathan Byrne as they were supposed to sign him permanently as well.
And they're interested in Jake Nicholson, another one we released.

Hall and Luongo going to Swindon is confirmed on the OS.

Hard to tell with these Turkish clubs if they actually have money or if they're just putting on a show to keep the fans happy until the season starts again.

Harry's mates.

lol...

I thought qpr were trying to reduce wage bill.

spose with parachute payments they are taking a gamble by signing big players to get them straight back up........

hope for harrys sake he gets them up..... or he may need constant security in his retirement from angry pompey & qpr fans

I'm sure Parker will be on less than Samba is, and with any luck in their negotiations Ferndandes will get Levy down to 80-90% of the fee they received for Samba. ;)

Easy savings...

The Standard said last night that Parker is on £60k and was willing to take a cut. Fulham are also meant to be interested.

Tonight's Standard carries quotes from a Besiktas director saying that they have made a bid for Adebayor but that he wants more money than they had expected but that negotiations are ongoing.

You mean we want a bit more money?
those quotes have been doing the rounds since yesterday.

Besiktas are still hopeful of signing Adebayor, who is no longer wanted at White Hart Lane despite joining from Emirates Marketing Project for £5m just one year ago.

Board member of the Turkish club, Ahmet Kavalci, said: “We are definitely interested in him and have made an offer. Adebayor currently wants more than what we were hoping however, talks are ongoing.”

The quotes suggest that it is Ade that wants more money and that they are negotiating directly with him which suggests a bid has been accepted. It's widely reported that we are happy to let him go for £5m.

Besiktas have made a bid for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to the Turkish club's director Ahmet Piper.

The Togo international struggled for form in the Premier League last season, bagging just five goals in 25 appearances following his £5million move from Emirates Marketing Project.

Adebayor initially shone at White Hart Lane during a loan stint from City, only for the scoring exploits which earned him a permanent deal with Spurs to evaporate.

He could now be offered a route to pastures new, with Piper claiming that they have tabled an offer to Tottenham for the former Arsenal man.

Piper told Turkish news outlet Fanatik: "It is certainly true that we are looking at the idea of a transfer. We have made a serious bid for Adebayor.

"That, in turn, has given us a figure for the player, which is slightly above the amount that we imagined.

"However, making a signing as big as this immediately is nothing but a dream.

"Negotiations always take a long time. I hope that we will get a chance to have a meeting soon."

Is there a chance they took the bit in bold and put their own little spin on it?
