The Spurs defensive unit is a bit of a buggers-muddle, mainly relying on numbers and little individual defensive prowess.
Harsh. Watch Dier today. Brilliant. Really brilliant - his best display for as long as I can remember and he's been excellent most of the time since the first lockdown. Watch Reguilon's positioning as they got a ball across the box right at the end. Excellent. It's not just about numbers.

We were playing WBA remember?
Apart from Moura’s suicidal Winks impression in injury time. Jesus wept, nearly threw something at my new telly when he did that!Yeah they aren’t great and haven’t exactly been scoring for fun this season but they did score 3 v Chelsea and 2 v Everton. You still need to defend well and be strong which our lads did and were. Defensively, I was very happy with us.

He did it twice. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I hope Jose gives him a kick in the nuts coz that sort of brick costs goals. Sadly, Moura seems to only have one way of playing.
He doesn't engage his brain, does he? It's all instinct and manic intuition.

We’re really notWe are very defensive now. I don’t like this, I prefer more of a balance favouring the offensive side of the game.
Mourinho is a defensively minded coach sadly. He imho, is overreacting to the West Ham result.
It was like watching an Under 9's team, the way Moura dribbled into the congested middle. Brainless amateur play. There was one where he dribbled right back into the middle of the pitch and lost it. Firstly, don’t dribble unless you’ve complete control of the ball which he didn’t have. Secondly, if you’re going to do it, go towards the touch line.

Without the brain fart errors that cost usI'm with you, it's the same as last season, sacrificing our attacking play to be defensively solid.
Whose scored 20?Your glass is half empty, mine's half full. We've scored 19, one other has scored 20, the rest fewer and no team has a better goal difference.
Second highest number of goals scored so far this season. We've had a somewhat easy run, but still. We are very defensive now. I don’t like this, I prefer more of a balance favouring the offensive side of the game.

To some extent, yes.I'm with you, it's the same as last season, sacrificing our attacking play to be defensively solid.
That’s normal thoughOur goals scored number is heavily skewed by two high scoring games tbf
