Cannot believe how good they've been with transfers the past few years. We should be all over 90% of their signings before Leicester get them, yet here we are. All credit to them though, they've done a stellar job of establishing themselves as a top side after winning the league.

We should be looking at all the recruitment staff to be honest.
 
The sad thing is if Kane were to leave this summer Daka would be a very likely candidate to replace him. but of course the pace of Leicster's recruitment means that won't be any last day of the window, last 10 minute joke bids.
 
People are very excited about Kroupi, saying he is the next big thing. I really don't know for sure.
But for a laugh and to stimulate the forum, I thought I would take a look back at the Patson Daka thread from June 2021.

The difference would be that Kroupi has done it in the Prem. Is there a Berehino thread? Lol

People will always overreact, but I don't think the Kroupi comparison is fair. Daka hadn't played in the PL, and even after 3 season in the PL, he doesn't have the same amount of goals Kroupi has in one season in PL.

Isak would have been a good signing, Vlahovic probably no worse than our current two up front.

Who is better run than us, that's where I'd agree with you, every year there is another Leicester/Bournemouth/Brighton/whoever all the way back to Charlton (if not before), and that's the failure to understand the exponential differences in what is required to stay in league, vs. consistent mid table, vs. best of rest, vs top 6, vs actually challenging.

Not all promising young players will end up going to the top. In Kroupi’s defence he has already had a good season in the PL so is somewhat proven here, whereas Daka was coming directly from a league overseas (and not one of the strong ones either) so there was always some risk there.
