***** OMT Tottenham v Manchester United *****

he's a problem
We've created fudge all as usual. The midfield provides nothing. Moura when he gets the ball runs into 3 or 4 defenders.
Son has done nothing all season but doesn't get called out on it. PEH and Skipp don't move the ball forward quickly enough (I don't blame them
for that, it's not their strength and two of them shouldn't be playing together). But it's always Kanes fault

Next 5 PL games after the internationals. Nuno needs to be cleaning up in those games - 5 wins

Leeds (h)
Burnley (a)
Brentford (h)
Norwich (h)
Brighton (a)

We desperately have to find a way of progressing the ball through the lines. The balance with Skipp and Hojberg is wrong.

As for Lo Celso, i don't know what people are seeing to justify him starting. At least the fatman looks to play forwards.

HT 0-1. A pretty even game between two nervous sides. We still lack major creativity and again little or no width in the team. Would like us to go three at the back and bring in NDombele for PEH and Reggie for Lucas. Royal and Reggie to play wing backs and give us some effing width.

Today was a game where we had to show spirit and bravery. Failed that so far. United are brittle, have a go at them. I’d love a manager with an up to date attacking press even if that means selling these ageing players in attack to do that. Jealous of the way Arsenal start every game on the front foot.

I’ve been back and forth all week on Nuno on whether things are that bad, but when you go on the defensive at home to a team below you who everyone has been outplaying then you’re bringing a lot of questions on yourself.

You know I thought of driving off to the casino last night to put $100 on united to win, so as to soften the inevitable blow. Didn't, as it was tinkling down rain....looks like my inertia has cost me again.

Because he's playing so far below his best, yeah service would help, but he doesn't need it, he can do it all himself when he wants to.

The first and biggest issue is us trying to break without the required movement. We end up playing hopeful balls - aka brick never on passes - which hands back initiative.

similar to under Mourinho it gives the opposition a way in - keep trying and when you fuk up we’ll give you the ball back. We need 1. more determined runs/pace and 2. to retain possession and play through midfield when the pass isn’t on.
