**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

Great to see Deki back, though I wouldn’t expect to see anything major from him for a good few months still. Kudus is only just starting to look like getting back into the swing of things and he was out for less time.

Frustrating news about Savio, was looking forward to him getting a run at left wing. On the plus side hopefully we see Fernandes start alongside Tonali finally, can see Gallagher starting in the 10 to lead with physicality.

Maddison off the bench after 65/70 mins, bring on Kulusevski for 5 mins at the end if we’re ahead comfortably - I can’t remember the last time we were in that position in all honesty.

I’d maybe start Robertson at left back. Feel like they will sit deep and try to frustrate. His crossing from deep could be useful
Think it was v Wolves around 81/82 when we were 6-1 up or maybe Wigan in more recent times and 9-1 up.

Injuries are part of the game. They come at an unfortunate time because we're trying to build a team, but judging from the first few gameweeks, De Zerbi doesn't mind making changes depending on the opposition. It's not good news, obviously, but we're beginning to have the numbers to deal with that kind of setbacks in midfield. Paradoxically, Solanke would be more difficult to replace at the moment.

I'm still looking forward to the match after last week's performance.

Actually think we can expect injuries with players like Savio, Maddison, Marmoush, Bergvall as they simply haven't played enough in last 12 months consistently.

So a win tomorrow puts us 15th-17th depending on goal difference. Would be great to win by a good few goals for the first time in a long time to make us a good few teams from the bottom rather than just about creeping out of the drop zone, but hey, I’d take a 1-0 win now if it was offered, just need to break the run.

We’ve got a few games coming up that look winnable on paper; we need to make hay before we hit a very tricky Christmas and New Year period.

Also, Chelsea follow Coventry, so chances are if we can’t get anything or drop points to Coventry then we’re going another two games at least.

I think we could be 7-0 up in the 98th minute against Chelsea and a meteor strike is more likely than seeing it out given our luck.

I have very little confidence about tomorrow's game....

Not because we will put a weak team out or have a poor 'injury ravaged' squad or have a bad manager or play particularly badly....

It's just that the last few years have taken a toll on me (and probably most of us) and there is something missing at the club.....

How can Brighton have a goal difference of plus 18 and we are minus 6 FFS??? Their only decent player is a young lad from Croatia...

Anyway, COYS.
