OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v woolwich *** 22.2.26

if you've not watched arsenal you'll see how the players are strong on the ball and seldom make mistakes. probably too soon for igor. don't see a win unfortunately and it would be progress if we don't get more injuries.

however i believe that we can play much better football and looking forward to Tudorball.

As a slight aside, when I started reading about the big 'meet up' before the game on Sunday my mind took me back to those days in the late 70s when we used to 'gather' before the NLD...

I think we met up at a pub next to Manor House tube station before walking to Highbury....

Fifteen minutes later, the song went up - "We're the North Bank, we're the North Bank, we're the North Bank TOTTENHAM ".... It happened 2 years running.

Oh, how times have changed... The latest one looks more like 'Strictly come dancing' meets 'Songs of praise'.... And probably not a bad thing...

COYS.

Could have been an off day for them last night, but Wolves belied their table position and played Woolwich off the park in the second half.

They may have nothing to lose, but they totally overran that Woolwich midfield.

Be interesting to see the starting lineup on Sunday for us, but for sure if we put in the effort that Wolves did we can get a result against them.
Them stumbling a bit and probably feeling the pressure. Hopefully a new manager bounce for us. Short turnaround for them, long turnaround for us with some fatigued players getting some much needed rest.

Certainty some reasons to at least be hopeful going into this. Obviously some counter arguments too, but let's ignore those for the time being.

Maximum effort, having a real go, can't ask for much more than that then the game will go as it goes.

I remember this early season 1980/81...I believe the phrase would be 'lively'?

Assume we get a Tudor Press Conference today?

Why? Rarely do we hear anything of real interest, just the usual "we are all focused on getting a result" "xxxxx may be fit, we are monitoring him" "they are a tough team to play against" "we've worked hard at training"
We could all write it yourselves.
